Ein bisschen komm ich mir schon vor wie Alice im Wunderland, so zauberhaft ist mein Spaziergang durch den Volksgarten im Herzen von Wien. Rosensträucher in allen Farben strahlen mit meiner neuen Sonnenbrille der Island Eyes von Maui Jim um die Wette. Es sieht schon fast etwas unrealistisch aus, so malerisch wie sich das Sonnenbrilleglas HAWAII LAVA™ in die Farbpracht der Blumen einfügt. Auch ganz besonders an dem eher klassischen Modell sind die schwarzen Halbrandeinsätze aus Acetat, die ihm einen Hauch von Retro verleihen.
Maui Jim hat als kleiner Sonnenbrillenhersteller am Strand von Hawaii gestartet. Ziel war es ein Glas gegen die intensive Blendeinwirkung und die schädlichen UV-Strahlen zu entwickeln, dass aber gleichzeitig die brillanten Farben der Insel zum Leben erweckt. Und das ist es immer noch. Jedes Sonnenbrillenglas ist polarisiert und wird nach wie vor im Hauptsitz der Firma in Lahaina, Maui getestet. Also im Rosengarten finde ich die Farben schon mal wunderschön, aber vielleicht sollte ich es für Euch auch noch selbst am Strand von Hawaii testen. Nur um sicher zu gehen. 😉😂
I feel a bit like Alice in Wonderland, so magical is my walk through the Volksgarten in the heart of Vienna. Rose bushes in all colors shine with my new sunglasses Island Eyes by Maui Jim around the bet. It almost looks a bit unrealistic, as picturesque as the HAWAII LAVA™ sunglasses lens blends into the colorfulness of the flowers. Also quite special about this rather classic model are the black acetate half rim inserts, which give it a touch of retro. Maui Jim started out as a small sunglass manufacturer on the beach in Hawaii. The goal was to develop a lens against the intense glare and harmful UV rays, but at the same time bring to life the brilliant colors of the island. And it still does. Each sunglass lens is polarized and still tested at the company’s headquarters in Lahaina, Maui. So in the Rose Garden, I think the colors are beautiful already, but maybe I should test it for you myself on the beach in Hawaii. Just to be sure. 😉😂
